Where Are They Now: Sarah Clark Edition

Time for the next former employee feature. Each month we’re highlighting one of our fine cousins (what we call our employees) who has left us and moved on to a new place in their working life. Once a cousin, always a cousin.

Name: Sarah Clark

Iron Horse Brewery: Position at Iron Horse Brewery? (We know this, but let’s see if we’re on the same page).

IHB: The host-ess with the most-est facts.

IHB: What years did you work for us?
SC: Kind of a blur… um 2014ish to 2016ish?
IHB: It was a blur for us too but not because we had too many beers.

IHB: What is your favorite IHB beer?
SC: That one that gets sent to Suncadia… second favorite is High Five.
IHB: We’re guessing you’re talking about the Big Dirty Amber and uh… we have some bad news about that one. We still make High Five though so don’t get too bummed out.

IHB: Where do you work now?
SC: Issaquah Dental Care.
IHB: A job that probably also involves a lot of smiling.

IHB: What do you do at Issaquah Dental Care?
SC: Make children miserable. Give them braces/ ruin their social lives.
IHB: They can blame you for ruining their lives instead of their parents, so really you’re helping their parents out. #Goals.

IHB: How are you doing better now that you’ve moved on from IHB?
SC: Better is a matter of opinion… I drink less beer and work out more… if that is a good thing?
IHB: We won’t say it is because then we’d be putting ourselves out of business. But the working out part probably is.

IHB: Is there one thing that working at Iron Horse Brewery helped you to get where you are now? Conversely, how did we ruin things for you?
SC: You know it’s really hard to say I just like telling people random bits of information, though I have always been like that. It was just more socially acceptable when that was my job, now people just look at me funny.
IHB: You should probably start a trivia question of the day at your current job as an outlet for that. We also hope you still wear this Gary shirt on the reg.

IHB: What is your favorite mythical creature?
SC: Platypus. Someone told me they are real but I think they are Photoshopped.
IHB: Fact. The male playtpus has a venemous spur on the inside of its ankle. You may need that for trivia at some point.

IHB: What was your most memorable moment at IHB?
SC: That one time I had a drink with Jared and Greg after celebrating some huge success and I walked out of the bar and broke my leg. Literally. Thanks a lot.
IHB: Jared argues you were celebrating with him and Dane, not Greg, and also says it wasn’t his fault. Also, we hope it’s fully healed by this point and you don’t have any lingering pain.
